Elise is native of Portland Oregon and has been playing the piano for 25 years; her mom was a concert pianist so she got started at an early age. She studied music and art in college at Portland State and Warner Pacific College and holds a Masters in Global Leadership from Fuller Seminary. She has performed with the Vancouver Symphony and in the years after has been working as a church creative arts director. She has taught piano for 9 years and currently teaches K-12 music, worship and art at Fairfield Christian School. Prior to that she taught music and piano at a private school in the Portland area and for an ex-pat school down in the West Indies. She is married to her high school sweetheart 14 years ago and they are parents to a fairy named Solveig and a fiery little tomato named Lincoln. They are an international family, having lived abroad in the West Indies and have done humanitarian work in Mexico, Haiti and Nepal.
